NOTORIOUS

SO INSTEAD OF SEEING NOTORIOUS EARLY AT THE PRIVATE SCREENING ON SOUTH BEACH I WAS INVITED TO I DECIDED TO SEE IT ON IT'S OPENING DAY. I GUESS SUBCONSCIOUSLY I FELT I WAS CONTRIBUTING TO BIG SOMEHOW SOMEWAY BY PAYING RATHER THAN SEEING IT FOR FREE WITH PEOPLE IN THE MUSIC AND FILM INDUSTRY I SEE ALL THE TIME ANYWAY... SO TO CUT TO THE CHASE I THOUGHT THE FILM WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! IVE MET SOME OF THE ACTUAL PEOPLE PORTRAYED IN THE MOVIE DURING MY JOURNEY THROUGH THIS MUSIC BUSINESS, I JUST DIDN'T KNOW THESE PEOPLE PLAYED SUCH A MAJOR ROLE IN BIGS LIFE! LIKE DJ ENUFF WHO WAS BIGS ROAD DJ, HE'S THE DJ THAT PLAYS MY MUSIC ON HOT 97... 

ANYWAY I REALLY FELT THE FILM DID BIGGIE SOME JUSTICE. GRAVY TO ME, BUT TO SOME THAT DON'T KNOW HIM AS A RAPPER JAMAL WOOLARD DID AN AMAZING JOB AS WELL. THERE WERE TIMES WHERE HE LOOKED, DRESSED AND SPOKE SO MUCH LIKE BIG I'D FORGET HE WAS PLAYING HIM. I WAS PLEASED FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END. ANGELA BASSETT PLAYED MS. WALLACE EXCEPTIONALLY WELL, AS WELL AS THE CHARACTERS PLAYING FAITH AND KIM. I ALSO THOUGHT IT WAS A GREAT LOOK THAT THE DIRECTOR CHOOSE BIGS SON CJ WALLACE TO PLAY HIS DAD AS A CHILD... CJ DID HIS THING! 

THE FILM ALSO TOOK ME BACK TO THOSE FEELINGS I HAD FOR HIP HOP BEFORE IT TURNED INTO A SUIT AND TIE! I MISS THOSE DAYS. IT ALSO BROUGHT ME BACK TO THE DISLIKE I HAD FOR THE MEDIA FOR PLAYING SUCH A MAJOR ROLE IN THE EAST COAST WEST COAST WAR!!!! THEY BLEW IT UP AND MADE TWO BEAUTIFUL COAST HATE EACH OTHER, INSTEAD OF TRYING TO CREATE PEACE THEY AMPED THE SHIT UP AND MADE MATTERS WORSE. NOW TWO OF THE GREATEST MCEES TO EVER DO IT ARE DEAD AND GONE... AND HOW I WISH PAC WOULD'VE LOOKED BEYOND THE BULLSHIT HE WAS BEING FED BY HIS PEERS AND JUST SQUASHED THE ENTIRE BEEF!

I MEAN WE ALL HAVE OUR THEORIES ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED BUT I'LL JUST KEEP MY TO MYSELF. I'D NEED A WHOLE NEW BLOG SPOT TO SPEAK ON THAT! I'LL JUST SAY THIS. EVERYBODY HAS A NUMBER, AND WHEN GOD CALLS YOURS WHETHER YOU'RE READY OR NOT WE ALL MUST ANSWER! BIGGIE AND PAC ACHIEVED FAR MORE AT AGE 24 (BIG) AND 25 (PAC) THEN DAMN NEAR EVER RAPPER WHO SURPASSED THEIR AGE TODAY WITH THE EXCEPTION OF VERY FEW! BEFORE I CALL IT A NIGHT I'LL LEAVE WITH SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT. IF MALCOLM X HAD DIED AT 24 OR 25 HE WOULD HAVE BEEN KNOW ONLY BY THE DETROIT STREETS AS A SMALL TIME HUSTLER NAMED RED. THESE TWO GUYS WERE SPECIAL... I PRAY ON A REGULAR BASIS TO BE HALF AS GREAT AN ARTIST AS THEY WERE IN MY CAREER TO COME! WE MISS Y'ALL IN RAP GAME... GOD BLESS

JUST MY THOUGHTS...

I must say this week went well! Recorded some pretty good songs... Brought grandma home from the hospital... Listened to 808's and Heartbreak the entire week, and It's my fav this week... 2 times for Mr. West! I did some soul searching this week as well. God/Life has been dealing me a great hand and I feel extremely good about EVERYTHING!!!!! Of course the music feels good, but besides my career I just feel good about living. Can't say what it is... All i know is that my attitude is different. I wake up and i feel like everyday is MY DAY! If i could bottle up what I'm feeling and give it away for FREE I would... I'll elaborate more on the next blog. Just felt like sharing that with my folks dig me? God bless

FEELING LIKE AN ANIMAL!!!

Greetings good people. I must say that I feel amazing! It's something about the beginning of a new year that has you on a high that couldn't be defined by a crackhead! The key is keeping this energy up throughout the entire year! It's a little something called drive... Get you some, it cost you nothing. So any way, IM FINALLY PUTTING MY FASHION DVD OUT. No need for hand claps, save that for the day it launches. It's call FRESH OR DIE for those unfamiliar with what I'm talking about. I'm meeting with the videographer tomorrow to go over the particulars but all systems are GO! I feels It's time miami had It's own gateway to FLYLAND, and i am going to give it to them. So this is what's on the mind for tonight... later folks, im off to see Valkyrie. I am a student of history... how else will I know where I'm going if I don't where I came from. God Bless. FAREWELL 08!

Brought in 2009 on a fresh note. Fresh outfit, and a fresh mindset. With 08 behind us it's that time when the world in it's entirety makes promises to themselves to be better than they were the previous year. Me personally i only wish to have what i lack in each area of my life. I don't think that's to much to ask, do you? Didn't think so. So anyway i brought the year in with loved one's and my favorite thing in the world besides my passion for fashion lol, PEACE OF MIND!

I must say that 08 was good to me and i wouldn't change a thing about it. Every person, place and thing i've come in contact with has helped shape who i will be in the new year. I eliminated all the dead weight in the previous year and i can say that if it wasn't for the suckers in my life i wouldn't know how to spot one out when i see one. So THANK YOU FOR THE EX RAY'S, i see right thru you dudes.  Other folks in my 08 appreciation list include; Ed & Brian for riding out the on going MUSIC BUSINESS STORM, I know this is a difficult business and, I appreciate your dedication to making me a HISTORIAN! Ed we're almost at the finish line, glad you're still here to see me cross it. Each and every site/magazine & blog that published an article about the music I so honestly make for the people who want to hear real Hip Hop...

My song Dying To Survive Received groundbreaking Reviews as well on sites such as Thehuffingtonpost.com and Eyeweekly.com! Let's see... almost signed to jive, turns out jive is JIVE! Sat with Ruff Ryders and found out they're regrouping for 2009 (shout to Wakeem & Jadakiss) turns out they're as real as they were in the 90's when they were on top, Considering them as a label for various reasons! Hot 97, New York's top station is playing my music, My video for Dying To Survive was posted on worldstarhiphop.com! went To VH1 hip hop honors, Then the BET awards hung out with Dipset/skullgang for that weekend (shout to twin and juelz santana)... Myspace deleted my page for uploading my swagga like us freestyle (I'm back up and running tho, TOM can't stop me LoL). I shut down Black Lyon Music Group due to internal issues with lames... (be careful who you trust!!!!!!!) Started another company THE GOOD LiFE MUSIC GROUP... (It's a SUCKER FREE LABEL) sorry clowns i have no more room for error! Ed (NORTHSTAR) became even more of a believer... MY PRESIDENT IS BLACK!!!!! SUMMER's my favorite season!!! Kid robot is now my weekend wears... Supras are the Sh#T! Over all GOD IS GOOD & 08 was a great year, let's pray 09 plays out even better... Since we are all caught up i feel i can rest better knowing that my blog buddys and i are back in business.
